CM 어린이 사역 소개
산타클라라연합감리교회 어린이사역은 어린이들이 하나님의 말씀을 배워 삶에서 실천하며, 예수 그리스도를 통해 나타내신 사랑을 다른 사람들과 나누어 그리스도의 참된 제자로 성장하도록 교육합니다.
The children's ministry of the Santa Clara United Methodist Church educates children to grow to be true disciples of Jesus Christ by learning God's words and practice them in life, and by sharing God's love expressed through Jesus Christ with others.

- We value the Word of God.

Knowing basic Bible stories become the foundation of children’s faith So, we teach Bible stories in order through a three-year curriculum.
우리는 하나님의 말씀에 가치를 둡니다. 기본적인 성경 이야기를 아는 것은 어린이의 신앙의 토대가 된다. 그래서 우리는 3년간의 교과과정을 통해 성경 이야기를 순서대로 가르칩니다
- We value faith practiced through life.

Christians must practice God’s Word in life. So, we teach children to practice what they have learned through leadership training and activities.
우리는 삶을 통해 실천되는 신앙에 가치를 둡니다. 기독교인들은 하나님의 말씀을 삶에서 실천해야 합니다. 그래서 우리는 리더 훈련과 활동을 통해 어린이들이 배운 말씀을 실천하도록 가르칩니다.
- We value fun and meaningful activities.

Learning can be more effective when it is with fun activities and related to life. So, we plan activities and programs in consideration of children’s level of development and interest and guide them to participate with interest.
우리는 재미있고 의미 있는 활동에 가치를 둡니다. 학습은 재미있는 활동과 함께 할 때, 그리고 삶과 관련이 있을 때 더 효과적일 수 있습니다. 그래서 우리는 어린이들의 발달 수준과 관심을 고려하여 활동과 프로그램을 계획하고, 그들이 흥미를 가지고 참여하도록 지도합니다.

Parents play a very important role in their children’s faith development. So, we encourage parents to participate through activities that parents, and children can do together.
우리는 부모와 함께 하는 신앙교육에 가치를 둡니다. 부모는 자녀의 신앙발달에 매우 중요한 역할을 합니다. 그래서 우리는 부모와 자녀가 함께 할 수 있는 활동을 통해 부모의 참여를 권장합니다.
- We value sharing God’s love.

The love and blessings we enjoy are freely given by God’s grace, so they must be shared with others in need. So, we encourage children to share God’s love by supporting children in childcare centers and underdeveloped countries.
우리는 하나님의 사랑을 나누는 것에 가치를 둡니다. 우리가 누리고 있는 사랑과 복은 하나님의 은혜로 주어진 것이기 때문에 어려움에 처한 다른 사람들과 공유되어야 합니다.
그래서 우리는 보육원과 후진국의 어린이들을 후원함으로써 우리 교회 어린이들의 하나님의 하나님을 사랑을 나누도록 격려합니다.
