-4th Sunday of Advent-

This Christmas season invites us into holy stillness.

Life, in many ways, is a quiet waiting…
a journey of trust, of learning to hold fast to Jesus
even when the road is long and the answers are not yet answered.

The Bible reminds us that those who endure to the end
are promised the eternal life, lived in deep union with Christ.

At Christmas, we remember that God does not remain distant from our waiting.

The Word became flesh.
God entered our time, our weakness, our silence,
and chose to dwell among us.

The child born in Bethlehem is the Light who walks with us,
in joy and in sorrow,
in hope and in perseverance.

His birth assures us that love is stronger than fear,
and that God’s promises are faithful and sure.

To you who live for love,
who continue to hope, serve, and remain faithful,
may your spirit be encouraged and renewed.

May Jesus Christ, our Emmanuel, God with us,
strengthen you in body, mind, and soul.

I bless you with the joy and peace of Christmas,
not only for this season,
but now and always.

1) Ski retreat is coming up. Will post the detailed info separately. Please pray for good weather and safety.

***Please prepare $15 gift for gift exchange for those of us who are attending the ski retreat.

2) Please come to youth lounge for Christmas Gift.

3) Please develop a habit of bringing your Bible to Sunday Worship Service. 

-대림절 넷째 주일-성탄 감사 예배

성탄의 인사를 드립니다.

이 성탄의 계절은 우리를 잠잠한 거룩함 가운데로 인도합니다.

삶은 어떻게 생각하면 기다림의 여정입니다.

길이 길고 기도의 응답이 들리지 않아도

에수님을 굳게 붙잡는 신뢰의 여정입니다.

성경은 끝까지 인내하는 사람들에게

예수님과의 깊은 연합안에서 누리는 영원한 생명이 약속되어 있음을 말해주고 있습니다.

성탄절에 우리의 기다림 속에 하나님은

결코 멀리 계시지 않음을 기억합니다.

말씀이 육신이 되셨고,

하나님께서 우리의 시간과 연약함과 침묵 가운데 들어오셔서

우리 가운데 거하시기를 선택하셨습니다.

베들레헴 말구유에 나신 그 어린 아기 예수는

기쁨과 슬픔 가운데서

소망과 인내의 길 위에서

우리와 함께 걸어가시는 빛이십니다.

예수님의 탄생은 사랑이 두려움보다 강하며

하나님의 약속이 참되고 신실하다는 것을 증명해 줍니다.

사랑을 위해 살아가며,

소망을 잃지 않고 섬김과 신실함의 길을 걷는 유스부 부모님들에게

영혼과 마음이 새롭게 되고 회복 되기를 기도합니다.

임마누엘이신 예수 그리스도, 우리와 늘 함께 가까이 계시는 하나님께서

우리 모두의 몸과 마음과 영혼을 강건하게 하시기를 기도합니다.

성탄의 기쁨과 평강이

12월달에만 머무르지 않고

언제나 여러분 모두에게 함께 하시기를 축복합니다.

2) 성찬절 행사를 위해 수고 해주신 부모님들께 감사드립니다. 유스들은 점심때 유스 방에서 선물을 받는 시간이 있습니다.

3) 우리 유스들이 주일 예배올때 가지고 있는 성경책을 챙겨 올수 있도록 리마인드 해주시면 감사하겠습니다. 성경책 들고 다닐수 있는 마음을 배워보는 캠페인 중입니다.
